Ter Yee read law at University of Warwick and was admitted as a Barrister-at-Law to the English Bar in 1987. Thereafter, she was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1988.
In 1990, Ter Yee joined Abraham Low & Partners as a Legal Associate where she continued practising in the area of conveyancing and real estate. She was admitted as a partner of Abraham Low & Partners in 1994, and has been a Director of AbrahamLow LLC since its incorporation in 2002. She currently heads the Real Estate Practice of AbrahamLow LLC.
Her clientele is wide-ranging and encompasses the whole gamut, from the high net-worth to general retail clients. She also acts for many local and international financial institutions, statutory boards and small and medium enterprises.
Ter Yee has a wealth of technical and practical experience in advising clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, such as sale and purchase, mortgage and lease transactions, and securitisation and financing, for both commercial/industrial and residential properties. In particular, she is adept in handling complicated issues arising out of matrimonial, estate and trust matters, as well as legislative changes. Ter Yee is also experienced in assisting clients with estate planning, advising on wills and miscellaneous succession matters.
She enjoys interacting with clients and understanding their needs and concerns. In the course of her practice, she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience, which enables her to better serve her various clients.
