Intellectual Property
Our
Intellectual Property Practice provides comprehensive advice on the
registration, use of and protection of trade marks, service marks, copyrights
and patents and designs both in Singapore and world-wide. With strong
links overseas, we have assisted our clients in the protection of their
intellectual property rights against infringement and passing off and
on pre-emptive remedies and have ensured that personal care is given
to their mark or patent from initial application stage through registration
and post-grant maintenance.
Real Estate
Our Real Estate Practice deals with matters regarding
residential, commercial and industrial properties. We also advise on
stamp duty implications of real estate transactions. We are on the panel
of solicitors of many of the financial institutions in Singapore as
well as the Central Provident Fund Board. We represent these institutions
in the provision of financing for real estate transactions and in asset
securitisation.
Corporate
& Commercial
Our Corporate and Commercial Practice covers mergers and acquisitions
of businesses and companies, joint-ventures, structuring and restructuring
of companies, franchising and licensing of a variety of rights, commercial
agreements, employment and service contracts and insurance work. We
also advise our clients on information technology transactions and new
media issues such as electronic commerce.
The provision of
incorporation and registration advice and compliance services by the
Corporate Secretarial Practice is also an integral part of the Practice.
We provide registered office and named Company Secretary and
also assist in applications for employment passes, work permits, permanent
residence and other immigration matters.
Our Corporate
and Commercial Practice
plays a big role in advising its international clients on various aspects
of off-shore commercial matters.
