Lewis graduated from the University of Leeds with a Bachelor of Laws in 2017, and was called to the Singapore Bar in July 2021.
During his traineeship, he assisted in trials for criminal and civil matters, and attended chamber hearings and negotiations for family law and civil litigation matters. He has researched and drafted submissions on work injury compensation issues. He had also completed an internship where he gained exposure to Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (CLAS) cases.
He is currently an Associate in the firm’s litigation practice. Aside from litigation and general pre-action advisory work, he also advises on Estate planning, probate matters and intellectual property matters. He believes in good communication and working relationships between colleagues and how this can contribute to productivity in the workplace, as well as the value of time management and balancing various priorities at work. He also has a keen interest in football, reading and socialising.
