Nellie
YANG (Ms)
She graduated from the University of
Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1974. Prior to
joining the firm, she practised in the area of civil and commercial
litigation, real estate and related banking services. She joined the
firm in 1980 as a partner in the Real Estate Practice and now heads the
Real Estate Practice of the Law Corporation. Her Real Estate Practice
represents clients engaged in all aspects of acquiring, owning,
developing, managing, leasing and financing of commercial, industrial
and residential real estate. The Real Estate Financing includes
liaising with and acting for financial institutions in the transacting
and securitisation of real estate and the use of real estate as
collateral for banking facilities. She was appointed a Commissioner for
Oaths in 1981 and a Notary Public in 1997. She is a director of the Law
Corporation.

Aloysius
LENG Siew Wei
He graduated from the University
of Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1980. He was
admitted as a partner of the firm in 1982 and was appointed managing
partner in 1990. He is the director in charge of the Litigation and
Intellectual Property Practices of the Law Corporation. The Litigation
Practice under him includes civil and commercial contractual claims,
matrimonial and family matters, intellectual property, banking and
trust disputes. The Intellectual Property Practice includes the
registration of trade marks, service marks and patents and designs and
acting as trade mark and patent agents. He has also developed a
regional Intellectual Property Practice in acting as co-ordinator for
the registration of intellectual property rights in the region. He
obtained his Masters of Law in 1989 from the National University of
Singapore. He is also a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of
Arbitrators. He was appointed a Commissioner for Oaths in 1987 and a
Notary Public in 1997. He is a director of the Law Corporation. |

TAN Ter Yee (Ms)
She read law at University of
Warwick and was admitted to the English Bar in 1987 as a
Barrister-at-law (Gray's Inn). She was admitted to the Singapore Bar in
1988 and practised in the area of real estate. She joined the firm in
1990 and continued her Real Estate Practice where her emphasis is on
commercial, industrial and residential real estate transactions
including securitisation and financing. She was admitted as a partner
in 1994. She is a director of the Law Corporation. |

Patrick NAI Thiam Siew
He graduated from the National
University of Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1989.
He first joined the firm's Litigation Practice in 1991 where his work
was mainly in civil and commercial claims. He left to join a firm which
had a shipping practice. He rejoined the firm in 1997 as a partner in
the Litigation Practice where he concentrates on general civil and
commercial claims including motor vehicle accidents insurance, maritime
claims and criminal matters. He is a director of the Law
Corporation. |

Rita NGEE Mun Wai (Ms)
She graduated from the National
University of Singapore in 1983. She joined the Legal Service and was
appointed Deputy Registrar of Trade Marks & Patents. In 1986, she
was appointed as Assistant Registrar of Titles at the Registry of Land
Titles & Deed and also worked in the office of the Controller of
Residential Property. She was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1986.
She left the Legal Service in 1987 and was in private practice before
joining the firm in 1999 as a partner in the practice of sale, purchase
and financing of real estate, acting for developers in development
projects and acting for the Central Provident Fund Board. She was
appointed a Commissioner for Oaths in 1999. She is an associate
director of the Law Corporation. |
